| | | Game Details | | | | | | | Operation Crimson Hunt will be first in a series of games following a defined story arc, culminating in Operation Nighthawk on September 25th and 26th and an as yet unnamed 24 hour game on the weekend of October 16th and 17th. The scenarios are all pre-determined as the results of each game will help shape the story line of the next one
Story
Malouinisia, code names "Storm Island", is a small island 100km off the coast of the Blue Empire mainland with a small native agricultural population. While the island itself has no political affiliation, the Republik has maintained control of the island for the last 10 years and it has been the scene of several very tense military and political standoffs between the Republik and the Empire.
Because of the proximity of the island to the Blue Empire mainland, the Blue Empire maintains a small outpost there, protected by agreements in the 1981 and 1995 Treaties of Mutual Non Aggression. The purpose of the outpost has been to monitor Republik forces and act as early warning in case on an invasion.
Republik intelligence believes that Blue Empire us using it outpost as a staging point for launching reconnaissance mission. The only logical purpose of these missions is to act as a precursor to an all out invasion of the island by the Blue Empire.
Empire officials of course deny the presence of any covert reconnaissance teams on the island, citing the Treaty of 1995 that specifically forbids this kind of activity. In response to this, the Red Republik's 52nd Naval Infantry Expeditionary Force (Commando) guarding the colony is on a heightened level of alert, sending out more aggressive patrols in an attempt to capture any Blue Empire soldiers not within the confines of the outpost.
Gameplay
This will be a daylong scenario, and each team will be operating out of its base for the day. The chalet will not be accessible during the game, so you MUST bring everything you need with you to your base.
For this game, you may join either the 52nd Naval Infantry Expeditionary Force (Commando) or the Blue Empire outpost. Please email Raven with any questions.
Rules of Engagement
Standard PQAC MILSIM rules are in effect. Players should limit the amount of ammunition they carry per mission to 600 BBs and make an effort to play using only low-capacity magazine. Respawn will take place at the team's designated respawn area and medics will be designated for each team.
The complete rules of engagement are available here: http://www.pqacairsoft.com/doc/pqac_milsim_roe.htm
Uniforms
While not a strict requirement, players wishing to play on a team should attempt to comply with the following uniforms requirements.
Red Republik
- Olive Drab
- CADPAT
- CADPAT (AR)
- Jungle Stalker
- Tiger Stripe (all variations)
Blue Empire
- US Woodland
- US 3 and 6 colour Desert
- MARPAT
- DPM
Our list of uniforms is by no means indented to be extensive, but rather reflect what players already commonly wear to games. If you wish to wear something that is not listed under either Red or Blue team uniform standards, please contact the game organizer to make arrangements.
Uniform standards for each team help to minimize friendly fire casualties. While they are far from completely effective - it's difficult to tell what uniform a head hiding behind a tree is wearing - they do help provide some measure of recognition.
