Location Changed
I’m sure this won’t please some people, but it’s out of our control. Nouveau Monde Rafting (the place where the Storm Mountain is located) was severely vandalized last week. As result, it is closed off until the police and insurance complete their investigation. We therefore will not be able to play there this weekend.
We have, however, managed to secure an alternate location for the game. It will instead take place on a private field in St-Julie (which is just before St-Jerome). This field boasts approximately 15 acres of playable area with 8 farm buildings and a fort, which will lend themselves well to siege type scenarios for the day’s skirmishing.
Here are the directions:
FROM MONTREAL
- 15 north (in direction of St-Sauveur)
- Exit 39 towards Ste-Sophie (the one before St-Jerome)
- Cross over the 117, continue towards Ste Sophie
- At the village of Ste-Sophie, there is 2 traffic lights close to eachother, go to the secont one and turn left on monté Morel nord.
- Continue for about 5 mins and turn right on emmanuelle street (emanuelle street is 100ft before the only stop sign on monte Morel N.
- The field is the 3rd entrance on the right, 108 rue emmanuelle
FROM OTTAWA
- Go towards hawkesbury or Lachute (Storm Mountain)
- Cross the bridge (from Hakesbury)
- Turn right on the 148 towards Lachute (if you are arriving via 148, just continue straight)
- Turn on 50 towards MIRABEL
- Continue East towards 15 N
- Take 15 N
- Exit 39 towards Ste-Sophie (the one before St-Jerome)
- Cross over the 117, continue towards Ste Sophie
